A credit card will be required to secure any deductible and rental fees for all clients without an in-house account. The name on the policy must match the credit card used to secure responsibilities. A 3.5% Service Fee is added to all Credit Card invoice payments.
All clients require insurance on all rental orders. Renters accept full responsibility for any loss or repairs due to damage, while in the renter’s possession. Proof of adequate insurance coverage for the full replacement value of the equipment will be required prior to the rental.
Please have your insurance agent fax us a Certificate of Insurance. This is a common request, but your agent should know the following... Insurance must name “HAPPY EQUIPMENT RENTALS” as the “Loss Payee”, as well as additionally insured. Coverage must explicitly include, “Miscellaneous Rented Equipment, Rented Equipment, and Rented Or Leased Equipment”. The insurance certificate must also provide the total amount of coverage and the deductible on the policy. Policies with “Unattended Vehicle Disclaimers” will not be accepted. All insurance will be subject to verification and approval by our management before any equipment is released. Please inform your insurance agent of the required coverage. All certificates and forms need to be approved 24 hrs prior to the rental.

Please call well in advance to reserve equipment. Confirmed reservations are made on a first come, first serve basis. We reserve the right to refuse service and do not guarantee availability. Confirmed reservations will take priority over “Photo Shoot Hold Dates”. The renter’s failure to cancel a confirmed order 24 hours prior to rental will result in a half-day rental charge. Confirmed reservations may be released at any time at our discretion.
Payment is due within 30 days of the dated invoice. Payments can be made in the form of check or charged to the credit card on file. Any past due rental fees and any other charges owed to HAPPY RENTALS are subject to 1.5% per month (18% per annum) interest. HAPPY EQUIPMENT RENTALS reserves the right to charge the customer’s authorized credit card in full for any invoice older than 90 days.
